Riads of Morocco

Like Haveli's of India, Riads have an enclosed courtyard. They are also decorated very colorfully. While Rajasthani haveli's (typically from Shekhawat region have painted frescoes), Riads have tiles and decorative plasterwork. While searching places to stay in Morocco, I came across some stunning  images of Riads. These pictures are somewhat minimalistic. Well as minimal  as you can be in Morocco.....because Morocco... just like India has a lush maximalist decor.
